Hi everyone I am in Thailand, at last! The flight was awful, sitting in a cramed aeroplane with passengers next to me snoring their heads off, how tedious! Thailand is beautiful, full of many extremes. Wonderful culture, exquisite scenery and superb food. Thailand manages to cater for many diverse tastes. I am staying in Bangkok, the Thai people call it Krung Thep which means 'the city of angels.' This city is always bustling and visiting the most important temples is considered a must. Today i am off to the market, I cant wait to experience this. I have heard that the market that i am going to today, Chatuchak market, is the best and the biggest of the lot! I have also heard that it is full of colour, delicate displays and mouth watering food, I cant wait!I am back from the market, it was truly suberb I did not buy much but looking around was great! The winds have picked up, lets hope they have subsided by tomorrow!
What a horrific night! Last night was so scary, the winds were high and trees were collapsing at your door step. I turn on the T.V to see that there has been a wind storm affecting 6 people and damaging many cars, shops, even houses! Outside the sky is dark and the leaves are being wisked of their branches, the sea is crashing along the rocks and the fire brigade have warned everyone to stay inside until the winds have died down!
What an eventful day in Thailand!
Thanks for reading, Holly :)
